Crite Industries — Baytown, TX — Software & Automation

Custom software and automation, built around your business — not around a template.

We design and build the dashboards, tools, and automated workflows your team actually needs — often replacing generic, overpriced software with something made to fit, on your own brand, at a fraction of the cost.

What we build

Software that does the work for you.

Four things we do, end to end — from the first sketch to the running system.

01
Custom dashboards & tools
Internal tools, client portals, and data dashboards built to fit your exact workflow — not a template you bend to fit.

02
Automation software
The repetitive work handled by software instead of people — syncing data, generating reports, moving files, running the same process every day.

03
AI where it earns its keep
For the steps that need judgment — reading documents, drafting, sorting requests — we add AI inside the tools you already use, with a person in the loop where it matters.

04
Autonomous systems
Drones and field systems with the software to plan, fly, inspect, and report on their own.

Selected work

A market dashboard for a wealth-advisory firm

A Texas wealth-advisory firm was paying $400 a month for an off-the-shelf research platform. We built them a custom one instead — their five fund categories, a proprietary performance score, and a daily market brief — on their own brand, behind a secure login. A fraction of the cost, made exactly for how they work.

A self-updating website for a Hill Country woodworking shop

Taddog Woodcraft sells at farmers markets and craft shows, and the dates change every season. We built a site with event logic that updates itself — past markets roll off, upcoming ones surface — with Hill Country branding and matching print business cards. The owner hasn't touched it since launch.

How it works

From idea to running system, fast.

01
Scope
We map what you actually need in a short working session — no bloated requirements docs, no jargon.
02
Build
You see a working prototype fast, then we refine it together until it fits the way you really work.
03
Run
We host it, keep it running, and handle changes as your needs grow — one clear monthly cost.

Who you're working with

I'm Chris Sawyer. I owned a gym for six years, so I know what running a business with no spare hours actually looks like. Now I'm a mechanical engineering student and a Part 107 drone pilot, with years spent supporting oil and gas engineers in between. Practical over flashy.

Let's build something that fits.

Tell us what's slowing your team down. We'll show you what custom software and automation can do about it — usually with a working prototype before you've signed anything.
